  • Perinatal Mental Health Workshop Series: From Policy to Practice

Across low-and-middle income countries, the case for perinatal mental health is increasingly well made. What comes next is harder: how do you actually build integrated perinatal mental healthcare inside maternal and child health services that are already stretched? From Policy to Practice is a five-part online workshop series for the people responsible for making integration happen: ministry officials, maternal and newborn programme managers, mental health programme managers and district health managers, NGOs supporting MCH and reproductive health services, development partners and researchers across the region.

  • A Conversation with Dr. Raj Panjabi on ‘Safer’

Join Friends of the Global Fight for a conversation with Dr. Raj Panjabi, Friends board member and former head of the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative, to celebrate the launch of his upcoming book, 'Safer: A Playbook for Turning Fear Into Action and Crisis Into Community.' Drawing on his experience responding to crises in the White House Situation Room, hospital emergency rooms and in his own life, Panjabi offers a practical framework for navigating uncertainty and protecting what matters most. The discussion will explore how to keep local communities involved in global health responses, the current state of malaria and implications for U.S. policy.
