Join Friends of the Global Fight for a conversation with Dr. Raj Panjabi, Friends board member and former head of the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative, to celebrate the launch of his upcoming book, Safer: A Playbook for Turning Fear Into Action and Crisis Into Community.
Drawing on his experience responding to crises in the White House Situation Room, hospital emergency rooms and in his own life, Panjabi offers a practical framework for navigating uncertainty and protecting what matters most. The discussion will explore how to keep local communities involved in global health responses, the current state of malaria and implications for U.S. policy.
